It's Chatty's first birthday, and we're moving to a brand-new app! 🚚

Moving house is never easy, so we've put together some answers to frequently asked questions to help you navigate the move.

How do I log into the new app?

You can access the new app at https://app.chatty.so using the email address from your existing Chatty account. Enter your email address and we'll email you a magic login code.

Why are you switching platforms?

We're expanding our services to include writing, fractional managed editing, and other editorial roles, and the existing off-the-shelf platform using SPP no longer met our needs. Additionally, we wanted to create a single platform where clients and contributors could both manage projects, payments, and more.

How do I use the new app?

Pretty much the same way as the old one! We're in the process of putting together demo videos and more KB articles to help you get started, but we've designed the ordering experience to be much the same (with the addition of writing projects).

Can I still access all my old projects in the new app?

Sure can — we've already migrated everything over for you. Of course, it's easy to misplace a few things during such a big move, so if you happen to notice anything amiss, let us know and we'll get it sorted.

What about payments and invoices? Are they in the new app too?

All your payment details for past projects should be accessible in the new app.

Can I still use the old platform?

We'll be shutting down access to this platform on October 20th, 2022. After that time we'll automatically redirect you to the new platform.
